I wish I could tell everyone about my passions in life.
But I can’t.. because I am still discovering what they are.

.. Hello, my name is Raspberry.
I’m an ordinary person making her way through life.
I belong to the group of people who doesn’t know what they want in their life.
While growing up, I tried making sensible choices for my future but not everything went as planned. I was discouraged and confused.
Although things didn’t work out, I got to know myself better and what truly matters in life.
Here I am, back to square one; starting all over again.
I live in Singapore, an island which is 1 degree north of the equator. It is summer all year round and the weather is hot and humid.
Singapore is also home to many delicious local food, such as chicken rice, laksa, roti prata, nasi lemak.. etc. Omg, it is impossible to list everything, cos there is just too many!
I love to daydream, because it helps me escape from reality.
Blueberry
Blueberry is my husband.

We met each other at a friend’s grandmother’s funeral (no, I’m not kidding). After 2 years of courtship, we got married in Nov 2009.
The kitchen belongs to the man of the house.. he loves to cook! I’m not worried about that, cos there is always plenty of delicious food at home. 🙂
Five years after we tied the knot, we bought a home.. Our journey as first-time home owners have officially started.
Kitty
Kitty used live in my parent’s neighbourhood.. I met him while taking Doggie for a walk.
Unlike other cats and dogs, Kitty and Doggie got along well.
Blueberry and I officially adopted him on 22-Dec-2013.
Being first time cat owners, we are still discovering the mysteries of cat behaviour- kneading, his fascination with boxes and bags, sitting on our laptops.. etc.
Kitty loves playing with ribbons.
Doggie
Doggie joined the family when I was 16 years old.
My best friend showed me the simple things in life can be wonderful. Our precious time together allowed me to see how pretty the neighbourhood was.
He loves to make friends with cats.. sometimes, we suspect that he’s a cat at heart.
After battling with oral melanoma, he passed away on 22-Nov-14 at 15 years old.
Doggie is a schnauzer and poodle crossbreed.
Thank you for following me. I was afraid to ask about Doggie. Sorry to here he passed away.
Hi Shelie, I enjoy reading your posts on your family. Your son is so adorable! 🙂
Thanks for you love. Doggie fought the good fight, glad he’s no longer suffering.
I enjoy you as well!
Thank you. 🙂
Love, love, love this post – especially the Blueberry and Raspberry references (too cute)! The food looked awesome and it would be great to visit you just for that 🙂 Thanks for sharing and do not worry: there are many more people who do not know what they want in life than those who do. Hugs!
