Haze 跟 Dust

The haze is back with a vengeance.

PSI (Pollutant Standards Index) levels reached very unhealthy levels.. and hazardous on several occasions.

Last Thursday evening, Ministry of Education announced all primary and secondary schools to close, so kids could stay indoors from the haze. I’m glad with the government’s decision.. As most classrooms are not air-conditioned, kids would be breathing in poor air quality.

Luckily (or unfortunately for the kids), air quality improved over the weekend. Many kids were disappointed, when they heard school was reopening on Monday.

I’m getting irritated by the smog.. I miss the clear blue skies and the smell of fresh air! The news reported the haze might last til November. Urgh, nooo!

Just a hazy day.. Sending my love from Singapore to everyone!

Just a hazy day.. Sending my love from Singapore to everyone!

I hope the haze will go away earlier that expected!

In the meantime, I will have to hide behind my mask and sunglasses.

Is this alert in whole Singapore?
Or just in a particular city?
Is this because of industrial pollutatnts or nature or both?

I wish you a lovely day ahead.
    Love and light ❤

      Hi Vibrant!
The alert is ongoing in the whole country.
The haze is coming from the Indonesian forest fires. The seasonal winds blew the smog here.. I’m hoping for the wind directions to change soon! (but the change might not be so soon..)
      Thanks for visiting. 🙂
