Blueberry and I went to Penang Kitchen.
I had asam laksa for lunch.
Thin rice vermicelli soaked in an appetising tamarind mackerel broth.. topped with a generous helping of thinly shredded veggies( onions, cucumber, red chilis, lettuces, mint, pineapple). In the bowl, there is also mackerel flakes and a spoonful of prawn taste.
(If you like sourish food and veggies, this is definitely a great dish to try!)
I love it.. and thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful of this dish. Such bliss.
There goes my dieting plans again. 🙂
