It’s Mutton Biryani for lunch!

Today, Blueberry and I had Mutton Biryani for lunch.

Biryani is long grain rice cooked in a medley of spices, such as ghee, cardamom, cinnamon, bay leaves, coriander, ginger, onions, garlic, saffron.. (I believe there are much more spices used).

The spices flavors the rice and transforms it into a bright tint of yellow.

Biryani is served with mutton redang (lots of gravy, please!), pickles and papadum.. this tasty dish is satisfying and worth every, damn calorie. 🙂
