Doggie was diagnosed with oral melanoma (a type of aggressive malignant tumor) in mid Oct.
The family did everything we could to help him.. Despite all the medication, close monitoring and care, Doggie’s health deteriorated quickly.
The vet had informed us of the poor prognosis, but it didn’t help in getting us prepared.. we didn’t expect him to go downhill fast.

After 7 weeks, Doggie lost 4kg.
The tumor caused him to be in constant pain.. there was a fair amount of bleeding from his mouth too… He could hardly eat, despite taking his painkillers.
I tried to bring him a walk, but he was too weak to wake up.. He slept most of the time, due to the discomfort.
As much as we wanted him to stay with us, keeping him alive and letting him suffer isn’t the best for him… We had to make the decision to let him go.
It was one of the hardest decision we had to make.. (I wish I don’t have to go through that again).
He left peacefully in the morning on 22nd Nov 2014.
RIP Doggie, you will always be my best friend.
