Hazy Day

It was Hari Raya Haji yesterday.. a public holiday in Singapore.

I went for a walk around the neighborhood.

The haze was back..

Not an ideal day to head outdoors.

Haze, haze go away

Haze, haze go away

I didn’t know the air quality was in the unhealthy range, until I saw the news today.. aiyo.

Here’s some photos for comparison.. taken on a haze free day.

2pm and 11pm

2pm and 11pm

The air doesn’t smell fresh.

The wind blows.. a breeze carrying a strong smell of burnt stuff (I’m not even sure what it smells like.. just plain awful) floats past the neighborhood… yuck!

After 15 minutes of strolling, I headed back..

The haze seems to be getting worse.

The top 2 pictures- before heading out.. The bottom 2 pictures- upon coming home.

I hate the haze.

It makes my eyes and nose uncomfortable.. watery eyes and nose.

The laundry doesn’t smell fresh at all.. everything has a tint of ashy smell. đŸ˜¦

Go away, Haze.. You are not welcome here.
